SICILY PGI OIL
From 17 June 2015, it is possible to submit to this Institute, designated by the MIPAAF (DM 11657 of 15/06/2015) as the public authority to carry out the control functions provided for by the articles. 36 and 37 of Reg. (EU) no. 1151/2012 for the denomination "Sicilia", temporarily protected at national level with decree of 29 January 2015. The deadline for requests for the subjugation of olive growers is set without extension to 30 September of each year. Please also remember that for registration in the list of olive growers it is essential to fill in the "Olive grove unit" form in the company file.
The submission request (attachments MAX 2MB otherwise they will be rejected) must be sent to the following PEC: [email protected], payments can be made via the PagoPa system accessible via the following link:

Please note that the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies has approved the new Control Plans for PDO and PGI oils, which will come into force from 1 July 2021 with the start of the new 2021/2022 olive oil campaign.
All companies subject to this IRVO Control Body are invited to examine the new PdCs and those who believe they do not wish to accept and approve them, to submit a formal cancellation to the Control System via PEC or REGISTERED MAIL with return receipt no later than 09/30/2024.

Public consultation on the IRVO 2026-2028 PTPCT update
Public consultation for the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2026/2028. In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2026/2028, all interested parties – particularly citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, and other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests – are invited to submit comments and/or proposals to the Head of Corruption Prevention and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated during the drafting of the document.
