Wine Paris, Sicily raises the bar: more space in 2027 for an even stronger presence.

Regional Agriculture Councilor Sammartino: "Wine is an ambassador for a land capable of speaking its mind with a single voice."

"Sicily conquered Wine Paris 2026. With pride and determination, our wineries brought to the heart of Europe not only wines of extraordinary quality, but the very soul of an island that thrives on culture, history, and passion. Our pavilion was a symbol: alive, vibrant, crowded with meetings, handshakes, and emotions. A place where Sicilian winemaking identity was celebrated in its most authentic, innovative, and international form." This is how Regional Councilor for Agriculture Luca Sammartino commented on the Parisian experience (which concluded yesterday evening, Thursday, February 11) of the 41 wineries that explored international markets with Irvo and the Sicilian Region.

Each glass shared reinforced the awareness that Sicily's winemaking is a key player, conveying a strong, distinctive, and recognizable message: "We look to the future with determination," Sammartino continued. "We will continue to invest in international promotion, wine tourism, education, and innovation. Our hope is that Wine Paris 2026 will be just one step in a broader and more lasting journey: a journey in which Sicilian wine increasingly becomes an ambassador for our land and our excellence."

Promotion but also vision: wine, in this context, has become a narrative, a relationship, capable of forging connections between operators, buyers, and international stakeholders. But above all, it has brought together producers: a single Sicily has emerged, albeit with its many souls, capable of speaking with a single voice.

This success is also reflected in the demand for participation: the 2026 edition saw strong growth (from 25 wineries in 2025 to 41), which has prompted concrete consideration of the future: "Demand has doubled," explained Commissioner Irvo Giusy Mistretta, "but due to space constraints, it wasn't possible to accommodate all the companies that would have liked to be present. For this very reason, we have already initiated discussions with the fair's organizers to acquire new spaces dedicated to Sicily for the next edition, thus meeting the growing interest of our wineries." This expansion responds not only to logistical needs, but also to a positioning strategy: to give Sicilian wine an even stronger and more recognizable presence, capable of showcasing the diversity of its territories.

Wine Paris—with its stands, its off-site events, and the synergy of ENIT and the Federation of Wine Routes—confirms its position as a central platform for Sicily's supply chain, uniting businesses, institutions, culture, and education. Companies have expressed a strong desire to engage more with young people; to preserve the past while adapting it to the present with simple and innovative language; to refine territorial distinctiveness; to be more ethical, accessible, and sustainable; and to maintain their identity while adhering to the industry's marketing trends.
