Agea Circular 2019/2020

 Mandatory declarations of harvest and production of wine and/or must for the 2019/2020 wine campaign

We inform you that it was issued with protocol. 71032 of 09/13/2019 la Agea Circular with the general application instructions for the presentation and compilation of the mandatory declarations of harvest and production of wine and/or must for the 2019/2020 wine campaign, all companies are therefore invited to read it.

The aforementioned circular follows what was reported in last year's circular; the most salient innovation concerns the possibility of pre-compilation via the Cellar Register, i.e. directly using the data present in the Cellar Registers as of 30 November; if you make use of this option, i.e. you choose to prepare the production declaration starting from the data present in the electronic register, naturally the operations that affect production and, therefore, the production declaration, must be entered in the register by 30 November, without making use of the right to register the operations within the 30 day period.

The production declaration from the register is optional; the company can choose to continue using the ordinary compilation methods.

It should be noted that pursuant to DM n. 7701 of 18 July 2019, two distinct dates have been confirmed for the compilation of the declaration sections, and in particular:

by November 15, 2019 the tables relating to the collection must be completed and presented e claim of the grapes(any corrections, if necessary, must be submitted by November 15th itself)

by December 15, 2019 the remaining tables relating to the wine production e

       musts (any corrections, if necessary, must be submitted by December 15th itself)

Companies that need to market particular types of DO/IG wines before the date of presentation of the harvest and wine production declaration can make use of the Prior declaration (according to the methods explained on page 10 of the aforementioned circular) which must be duly completed and presented to the relevant CAA, this prior declaration will then constitute an integral part of the single declaration of harvest and wine production. The prior declaration must be completed and presented by the tenant (grape producer, private individual or associative organisation);
All companies are reminded that only after having submitted to AGEA the declaration of harvest and/or production of wine and/or must (preventive or definitive) of the 2019/2020 wine campaign is it permitted to insert on the portal and, subsequently move, batches of PDO and/or PGI products for which, as mentioned, the prior declaration certificate for the claim of DO/GI grapes or the definitive declaration of harvest and wine production has been presented to AGEA.
Companies are therefore invited, when loading initial stocks, to attach the relevant AGEA declaration (preventive or definitive) to the portal, duly printed and endorsed by the CAA.
