Abraxas
Abraxas is a small company born from a dual passion: Pantelleria, wine. The Founders - managers of Abraxas arrived at the magic of wine driven by a passionate historical and cultural curiosity. The Moscatello d'Alessandria stopped in Pantelleria during its migration from the East. Zibibbo appears to be an Arabic name. Like many other lovers of the island, the owners of Abraxas also tried to make the Passito with Hesiod in mind: "when Orion and Sirius reach the middle of the sky and the pink-fingered Aurora sees Arturo, then, O Perse, stands out and bring home all the bunches: you will keep them in the sun for ten days and ten nights, for five instead in the shade; on the sixth day, then, you will place in your vases the gifts of Dionysus who gives much joy" (Hesiod's Works and days).
