Di Giacomo meets the unions

Also present at the union meeting were the director Lucio Monte, Dr. Emilia Mulè as head of staff and the following union representatives: Fabio Guccione-Sadirs, Bernardo Scaturro-Cobas, Carmelo Ingrassia-Uil, Nino Drago-Cisl, Antonio Casano-Cgil, as well as a large internal representation group.
The intention of the extraordinary commissioner is to seek funds through the new calls for the 2014-2020 programming, simultaneously underlining the importance of the control and certification activities of wines and soon of oils, as well as research and the transfer of innovation . The unions have taken note of the program announced by Di Giacomo, "i.e. that of repaying - we read in the union note - a debt exposure of the current institution and at the same time the launch of a series of initiatives aimed at relaunching the Institute as research and certification body of the Sicilian Region in favor of the most important agricultural sectors in Sicily: Wine and Olive Oil".
Another meeting on FAMP and office reorganization has been scheduled for Monday 29 September.

Public consultation on the IRVO 2026-2028 PTPCT update
Public consultation for the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2026/2028. In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2026/2028, all interested parties – particularly citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, and other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests – are invited to submit comments and/or proposals to the Head of Corruption Prevention and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated during the drafting of the document.
