Seminar on internet portals and social media

The general objective is to increase the effectiveness of tourism development programs through cooperation and learning processes that involve both promoters (public) and beneficiaries (local authorities and private operators). Considering that promotion through web portals and social media represents, for tourism operators, the most effective and productive dissemination channel in order to reach large areas of the public and optimize economic investments, the "tuning" of promotion methods with the internet age has become necessary. Awareness of the nature of the criteria that regulate how to "offer" a product with satisfactory results is not always acquired. Hence the idea of creating a seminar which can, in a preparatory manner for the creation of promotional tools, make the beneficiaries of the Sensi Contemporanei interventions, the promoters of the Tourist Districts and more generally the public and private operators in the sector reflect on the possibility that internet portals and social media become truly operational and effective tools for the ordinary promotion of the territory and not only on the occasion of specific and extraordinary funding.
