New opportunities for Nero d'Avola

In the online magazine www.infowine.com a work was recently published with the aim of evaluating the viticultural-oenological behavior of the cv. Malbec in Sicily. The study of this variety, which took place over a period of four years, involved the observation and monitoring of the phenological and production phases, experimental microvinifications with cold pre-fermentative maceration in comparison with maceration in standard conditions. Furthermore, blending with Nero d'Avola was carried out with the wines obtained, to evaluate any improving capabilities of Malbec and verify the technical conditions to be able to expand the range of products to be offered to an ever-evolving wine market.

Public consultation for the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2026/2028. In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2026/2028, all interested parties – particularly citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, and other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests – are invited to submit comments and/or proposals to the Head of Corruption Prevention and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated during the drafting of the document.
