IRVO brings Sicily's green gold to Japan – 20 Sicilian companies protagonists at JOOP – Japanese Olive Oil Prize

On May 22nd, 20 excellences of Sicilian extra virgin olive oil participated in the JOOP – Japanese Olive Oil Prize, the prestigious international competition that promotes the best extra virgin olive oils from all over the world.

During the event, the IRVO Extraordinary Commissioner, the lawyer Giusi Mistretta, and the President of Confimprese Palermo, John Happy, illustrated the important commercial development opportunities that JOOP can offer to the Sicilian oil sector.

The conference proved to be a strategic moment of promotion for the entire sector, underlining the commitment of IRVO and Confimprese Palermo in enhancing and supporting local businesses with concrete actions aimed at strengthening the presence of Sicilian oil in international markets.

Public consultation on the IRVO 2026-2028 PTPCT update

Public consultation for the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2026/2028. In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2026/2028, all interested parties – particularly citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, and other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests – are invited to submit comments and/or proposals to the Head of Corruption Prevention and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated during the drafting of the document.
