IRVO at Inycon 2025: Support for the Creation of the Menfi DOC Protection Consortium
The conference entitled "Towards the Menfi DOC Protection Consortium: Identity, Quality, and Promotion", an integral part of the Inycon Menfi – Tales of Land and Sea event, which coincided with the thirtieth anniversary of the Denomination.
The meeting proved to be a valuable opportunity to reflect on a collective and structured initiative between the worlds of wine, oil, and tourism.

Our presence here strengthens the Institute's active participation, in line with its mandate to protect, enhance, and promote the regional wine and olive oil sector.
The conference was an important opportunity for discussion between several Italian institutions, producers, and consortium representatives, offering insights into winemaking innovation for strengthening the region's identity.
Speakers included Vito Antonio Clemente (Mayor of Menfi), Francesco Gagliano (Agriculture Councillor for the Municipality of Menfi), Marilena Barbera (Barbera Wineries), Santi Planeta (Planeta Farms), Giuseppe Bursi (President of SetteSoli Wineries), Antonio Rallo (President of the Sicilian DOC Consortium), Maurizio Lunetta (Director of the Etna DOC Wine Consortium), Graziano Molon (Director of the Trentino Wine Protection Consortium), Carlo Alberto Panont (Director of the Garda DOC Consortium), and Vito Bentivegna (Director of IRVO).

Public consultation on the IRVO 2026-2028 PTPCT update
Public consultation for the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2026/2028. In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2026/2028, all interested parties – particularly citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, and other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests – are invited to submit comments and/or proposals to the Head of Corruption Prevention and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated during the drafting of the document.
