The flavors of Sicilian products conquer the international market – IRVO present at the 19th edition of Vitigno Italia in Naples
From May 11th to 13th, the city of Naples hosted the 19th edition of the prestigious wine festival “Vitigno Italia” at the Stazione Marittima. An event dedicated to the flavors and excellences of the South with national labels and buyers from all over the world.
Over 200 registered, including companies, consortia and local entities, the participants of this edition, for a total of two thousand labels to taste. Sicilian excellence has proven to conquer the most demanding palates, thanks to the biodiversity of wines and vines, the soil and climate conditions of production, professionalism and technological research. The quality of sparkling wines is confirmed as excellence.
There was also a large turnout of foreign buyers on the day dedicated to the two masterclasses held by IRVO oenologist Gianni Giardina entitled: “Sicily winemaking: WINES & TERRITORIES” and “Sicilian bubbles: a consolidated reality”.

Public consultation on the IRVO 2026-2028 PTPCT update
Public consultation for the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2026/2028. In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2026/2028, all interested parties – particularly citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, and other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests – are invited to submit comments and/or proposals to the Head of Corruption Prevention and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated during the drafting of the document.
