EXPRESSION OF INTEREST Aimed at Sicilian wineries
Given that the Institute intends to evaluate the opportunity to promote the participation of companies operating in the wine sector in two international events of strategic importance for the promotion of the sector;
THIS EXHIBITION OF EXPLORATORY INTEREST
It is aimed at SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) producing Sicilian DOP/IGP wines for participation in one of the following 2 proposed events:
1) Wine Roadshow scheduled in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) on a day at the end of October 2026, organized by the Hopscotch Company (formerly Sopexa) (https://hopscotch.one/en/);
2) QWine Expo 2026 Fair scheduled for November 13-15, 2026 in the city of Qingtian, organized by the Wine Channel Company (https://winechannel.it/).
The Wine Roadshow is a B2B event featuring qualified professionals from the growing Vietnamese market and a Master Class showcasing the most representative wines from 10 selected participating companies.
QWine Expo 2026 is the leading wine fair in Zhejiang, supported by the local government and recognized as a strategic platform for wine imports into China.
IRVO, based on the largest number of company demonstrations collected on the two proposals listed above, will subsequently select 10 Sicilian wineries through a specific call for proposals, pursuant to Commissioner's Resolution no. 18 of 31/07/2023 of the "Implementation methods" of the aid scheme exempt from notification for promotional activities for DOP and IGP wines and oils (Aid Measure: SA109285).
This Aid Measure will ensure that 80% covers the costs of organising the event by IRVO.
Further operational, logistical, and financial details will be provided in the specific Call for Applications for the event that has attracted the most interest.
