Update 2022 Regional List of Vineyard Mentions
With DDG 2857 of 07/08/2021, published in the Official Journal of the Sicilian Region n.33 of 07/22/2022, theRegional List of Vineyard Mentions.
Compared to the list updated for 2021, the new mention vineyard "Grisi”, falling in the municipality of Monreale, relating to sheet 105 (parcels 1249-1461-1463) and relating to sheet 111 (parcels 46-49).
Since the 2019 update of the list, again for the DOC Sicilia, the mention "di Grisì" vineyard, also falling in the municipality of Monreale, was already present in sheets 105, 106 and 108.
The new mention “Grisi” concerns the particles (sheets 105 and 111) which did not fall within the previous recognized mention “of Grisì”.
To the art. 2 of the aforementioned DDG, the reasons for which the vineyard mentions for which the relevant request had been presented were not recognised, are also explained.
Companies that produce grapes from vineyards included in the cadastral map sheets and in the parcels identified in the Regional List for each of the vineyard mentions are reminded that, to use the aforementioned mentions in the designation of the wines, the mention of interest must be claimed in the declaration annual harvest and the separate vinification of these grapes must be carried out (see art. 31 paragraph 10 of Law 238/2016).

Public consultation on the IRVO 2026-2028 PTPCT update
Public consultation for the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2026/2028. In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2026/2028, all interested parties – particularly citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, and other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests – are invited to submit comments and/or proposals to the Head of Corruption Prevention and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated during the drafting of the document.
