AèD Award 2017

The Agriculture and Women Award is now in its third edition.

The award, announced by the Order of Agronomists and Forestry Doctors of the Province of Palermo, in collaboration with the Regional Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Mediterranean Fisheries, with the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil, with the Palermo Chamber of Commerce and with the National Council of Agronomists and Forestry Doctors, is aimed at enhancing the role of women in rural and environmental agriculture.

The prize will be awarded to women who, with their commitment, have contributed significantly to social, cultural and economic growth and/or who have at the same time shown attention to environmental, social and safety aspects in agriculture.

The award is aimed at:

Female Agronomists and Forestry Doctors regularly registered with the Order;

Representatives of female agricultural and agri-food entrepreneurs in the province of Palermo.

Anyone interested can read the relevant one Regulation.

There application for participation must be sent to the Scientific Technical Committee by 10/03/2017.

The awards ceremony will take place on March 23, 2017 h. 3.30pm at the former Church of San Mattia ai Crociferi in Via Torremuzza, 20 Palermo
