ProWein, 29 Sicilian companies in Germany

ProWein is upon us. The most qualified and specialized wine fair in Germany, dedicated exclusively to the professional world, will open its doors from 15 to 17 March. An edition that sees the confirmation and expansion of the event. In fact, there will be twenty percent more exhibition space and will include various "off-show" events.

The German fair is one of the most important showcases for the wine sector. Sicily and its wines will be present again this year accompanied by the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil. “Thanks to the implementation of Measure 133 of the new PSR – the extraordinary commissioner of IRVO, Antonino Di Giacomo Pepe, is keen to underline – every Sicilian wine company interested in the event was able to participate without financially burdening our institution which is not currently in a position to cover further expenses".

But this did not prevent the logistical support provided by the organization and the "guidance" support it will provide during the fair. This is an important opportunity for companies in the sector. In fact, as many as fifty thousand visits are expected from professionals, technicians and buyers from one hundred and ten countries. A certainty for exhibitors who confirm their presence every year with a view to increasing their business contacts. In addition, no less important, broad visibility guaranteed by the presence of more than a thousand journalists. This year the Sicily Pavilion will be on 16 C62. This is where the twenty-nine participating Sicilian wineries will find their place.
