Accredia, inspection team
The inspection operations of the Accredia team concluded on Friday 9 May. IRVOS is now awaiting confirmation as a certification body.
The control activities began on Monday 5 May and took place in the four laboratories of the Regional Institute of Wines and Oils of Sicily, namely: Palermo, Milazzo, Marsala and Ispica.
“It would be fundamental for us – comments the general director of IRVOS, Lucio Monte – to continue as a certifying body for a whole series of activities that we carry out. In particular, accreditation is very important for what concerns the activity of the Ispica laboratory which, in addition to providing the services we already offer to the territory, will also open up to the control of water and pesticides for Sicilian fruit and vegetable production".

Public consultation on the IRVO 2026-2028 PTPCT update
Public consultation for the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2026/2028. In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2026/2028, all interested parties – particularly citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, and other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests – are invited to submit comments and/or proposals to the Head of Corruption Prevention and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated during the drafting of the document.
