Calabrese, settlement on Thursday
The president of the Sicilian Region Rosario Crocetta signed the decree. gg gg gg gg Nutritionist Giorgio Calabrese is now officially extraordinary commissioner of IRVOS. The settlement will happen Thursday, May 16.
The choice of Calabrese took place a few months ago: the name of the internationally renowned nutritionist had been chosen by the Sicilian government.
The installation will take place in the offices in Via Libertà after the Conference on Food Safety organized by Professor Giacomo Dugo of the University of Messina which will be held at the Botanical Garden of Palermo.
The decree appointing President Crocetta is valid for six months, starting from May 3rd.
Among Calabrese's first objectives is to define the organizational structures of the offices and work immediately to transform IRVOS into a reference point for the agri-food system and the promotion of the Mediterranean diet. And thus there will also be no shortage of synergies, including that with the Zooprophylactic Institute directed by Antonino Salina.
