Nutritionist Giorgio Calabrese, new commissioner of IRVOS, begins with these words. Appointment decided by the regional councilor for Agriculture, Dario Cartabellotta.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Institute has worked well up to now, great strides have been made in favor of a sector which today has carved out a place of excellence not only in Italy but also in the world. \u2013 states Calabrese who also holds the role of president of ONAV, the National Organization of Wine Tasters, and adds \u2013I will therefore work in this direction by contributing what is most relevant to me, namely the scientific contribution and that which concerns communication\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Two complementary and substantial aspects that have always characterized Calabrese&#039;s &quot;personality&quot;: a person of science and at the same time a great communicator. Calabrian therefore, also Sicilian, in fact he was born in Rosolini in the province of Syracuse, he is happy to hold the new and important position: \u201cAbove all \u2013 he concludes \u2013 because IRVOS is the only specific body for the sector in the whole of Italy.
