Tastings, tours of the olive groves, visits to the companies and knowledge of the various harvesting and processing methods. Eleven journalists from the foreign press will be involved in this educational which aims to promote and provide correct information on Sicilian &quot;gold&quot;.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nThe objective of IRVOS is to restore value and the right place to one of the most genuine products made in Sicily.<\/p>\n<p>We will start on Monday, November 5, with a guided sensorial tasting of Sicily DOP oils at the SOAT (the Operational Unit of the Infrastructure Department) in Trapani. For the occasion, typical food and wine products of the island will also be tasted. Then the various stops will be the companies of the Trapani area: the Pellegrino agricultural company, the Bonanno company, the Gruppo Curaba srl company, the Tenuta Gorghi Tondi, the Titone organic agricultural company, the Fontanasalsa di Maria Caterina company and the historic Barbera company. Not just tastings, but during these stages the journalists will come into contact with the realities and moments that characterize the olive harvest up to processing. The journalists come from nine countries.
