Nothing is left to chance. The numbers prove it: over 7000 "wine tourists" hosted in its facility in 2010, repeated in 2011, over 30 foreign markets that import the company's wines. A certification of quality also sanctioned by numerous national and international awards such as the 90 points awarded by the very prestigious Robert Parker to Sachia Perricone Sicilia PGI. Entering the cellar is like taking a leap into the past. The ancient 19th century walls stand in the heart of the traditional area of Marsala wine establishments. Respect for the history of a territory that can be appreciated in the different lines of wine, the native monovarietals of Grillo, Grecanico and Nero d'Avola which they combine the quality and exaltation of a terroir at prices that are definitely within everyone's reach.
The visit to the cellar allows both the connoisseur and the less experienced visitor to enjoy a unique and pleasant experience. Caruso & Minini opens its doors to wine lovers every day of the week (Sat and Sun by reservation) to guide them in professional tastings of its wines, pairing them with the specialties of Marsala cuisine.
2011 confirms the "surprising discovery" also for the maximum attention paid to the visitor at the time of purchase. To overcome the obstacles that the new aviation regulations have imposed on the transport of liquids, Caruso & Minini ships its wines free of charge to Italy and Germany as well as being among the first wineries in Italy to give the opportunity to purchase their wines through web shop.
To book a visit just call 0923 982356 or write an email to marketing@carusoeminini.it.

Description

Duration

Price per person

Visit to the cellar and tasting of 4 wines + deg. olive oil with fresh bread.

45 min. approx

€ 2.00

Visit to the cellar and tasting of 5 wines (2 white, 2 red, 1 Marsala) paired with appetizers, cured meats and cheeses (2 two types of cheese which adapt perfectly to the wines being tasted supplied by a well-known dairy in the area: 1 type of cheese will be served with the whites and the other with the reds; 1 type of salami to pair with the chosen red wines; Bread; Olives; Tagliancozzi to pair with the Marsala)

1 hour approx

€ 10.00

Visit to the cellar and tasting of 4 wines paired with a "rustic lunch" (buffet full of various snack items, such as calzones, arancine, pizzas, focaccias, etc.; miniature sweets)

2 hours approx

€ 15.00

Visit to the cellar and technical tasting guided by the oenologist (min. 5 people – max 30)

€ 12.00

“Vineyard Tour” in the company of the agronomist: visit to the vineyards during the harvest (Aug-Sep-Oct)** with the possibility of tasting the precious grapes directly from the plant.
