\u00a0From 26th to 28th May. These are the days that will see Sicily wine as the protagonist in Hong Kong. The foreign stage, which is part of the internationalization program started some time ago but strengthened this year by IRVOS, is the result of a joint venture between Michele Shah SRL and Peter Chu, importer of Orient Pacific and Cellermaster in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cIt's a fundamental stage. \u2013 comments Michele Shah, world expert in the world of wine and collaborator of the Regional Institute of Wines and Oils of Sicily \u2013 The Hong Kong market is an important and attractive market. First of all because there are no duties, and then because it constitutes the "strength" of Asia".<\/p>\n
A market that however must be approached in the best way: \u201cIt may seem, \u2013 continues Shah \u2013 from what was said before, an easy market. But in reality this is not the case. Many importers were soon born in Hong Kong and soon "died". We need a good filter, someone who knows how to convey the wineries and their products well. We are aiming for this and it is certainly very important to be there." For this three-day event, which is so important as a place where meetings between producers and buyers will take place, the top was chosen as follows: \u201cIt will take place in the \u201cheart\u201d of Hong Kong, \u2013 explains Shah again \u2013 or in the prestigious and central Hong Kong Jockey Club ( HKJC)\u201d. This is therefore where the 'Walk Around Tasting' will take place. Media partner is Wine Lux. The chef of the Gulfi relais, Carmelo Floridia, and the World Champion sommelier Luca Gardini will be present.<\/p>\n
