Vinacria Ortigia Wine Fest 2025: with the support of IRVO, wine returns to the heart of Ortigia, amidst culture, territory, and education.
Sunday November 23 And Monday, November 24 The event that brings wine to the heart of Ortigia (Syracuse), the Vinacria Ortigia Wine Fest, returns.
The event will involve 100 wine producers from all over Sicily, and will also bring olive oil to the table, for a comprehensive representation of the island's food and wine identity. Five masterclasses on wine and one on extra virgin olive oil are planned.
THERegional Institute of Wine and Oil (IRVO) is supporting the event, and will participate with the masterclass on oil entitled "Green Gold of the Island: the art of Sicilian EVO oil" held from IRVO Director Michele Riccobono Monday, November 24th at 12:00 pm.
The event will start fromAncient Market of Ortigia to offer the public a genuine and varied gastronomic experience to complete the story of wine through the flavors of the territory.
The meeting's mission is to restore wine to its original nature as a popular product and a unifying force for the community. It's a valuable opportunity to generate a shared language between producers, enthusiasts and wine tourists, and join theidentity, territory and culture for everyone.
With this goal, the Vinacria 2025 event supports the "Federico II di Svevia" Hotel School in Syracuse, providing practical training to students and building bridges between the new generations and the world of hospitality, culture, and wine. The presence of the "Friends of Vinacria" is also important, including FAI Siracusa, Meraki Book Festival, Teruar Ethical Wine Fair, and the Rosario Gagliardi Academy of Fine Arts, demonstrating a shared commitment to making the event a cultural and social project that creates a bridge between tradition and future and consolidates its position as one of the leading food and wine events in Southern Italy.

Public Consultation Update PTPCT IRVO 2025-2027
Public consultation for the purpose of updating the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2025/2027 In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2025/2027, all those who are interested are invited - in particular citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests - to send observations and/or proposals to the Person in Charge of the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated when drafting the document.
